Camping in Germany

Hi!

A few weeks ago (we still don't have internet at home, the reason for our infrequent posting, according to the experts our internet connection is coming 'soon' now...) we went for a camping trip at the Ostsee at the northern coast of Germany. We had a wonderful time and we were very lucky with the weather: we only had rain for one whole day! To get a bit of the South-African feeling we went to a nature and wildlife park where we could do a night walk. We joined the feeding of the wolves and saw some beautiful owls! Before we got started on the night walk, we saw this bear swimming and playing with his toys. He is only 2 years old and is living in the park with his older brother. Because they like to make trouble during night time, they have to sleep inside until they are behaving like adults...

At the moment we are preparing for the Berlin marathon which will be on the 30th of September. We've heard that it's an amazing event; we're running right through the city centre of Berlin and there are supposed to be very many spectators. We are really looking forward to it, we'll let you know how we experenced it in our next posting!
