Victoria Falls

We just returned from our trip to the Victoria Falls. It was a unforgettable experience, together with our friends Riaan and Tanile. We left on the 26th of Dec and drove through Botswana to the Kasane borderpost from where we only had to drive 76 km in Zimbabwe (Fuel is very hard to get in Zim.) We drove the 1400km in 2 days and had an overnight stay in Nata (Nata Lodge). Late in the afternoon of the 27th we arrived in the Victoria Falls town and on the 28th we saw for the first time the falls in their full glory: They are so big, impressive, breathtaking, that I would really advice anyone having the chance to go there: Go there!

Zimbabwe is really an interesting country: it is the only country in the world where the money has an expiring date on it.
