Doing Tri, fighting HIV

(een nederlandse vertaling van het project krijg je door hier te klikken)

On the 18th of March we both will compete in the Ironman South Africa. Although this is a very individual race, we wanted to give it a social meaning. Anita came with the plan to raise money for the orphans at the Siyanqoba Children Centre, where she works. These children come everyday for a warm meal, to play and to get support with their homework. The age of the children varies between 2 and 16 years. Especially for the young children, there is little to play with, so we want to raise money for a playground.

As soon as Heleen and Rob (http://www.heleenbijdevaate.nl/) heard from this plan they joined in. Heleen will also start in the Ironman (as a professional), and at their wedding they already raised a lot of money.

If you would like to support us, you can send us an email or leave a comment: It will really be of great help for the Siyanqoba Children Centre.

The idea is simple: You can sponsor Anita per kilometer (3.8km swim, 180 km bike and 42,2 km run makes a total of 226 km) or sponsor this project with a fixed amount.
